Mr John Hollingdale FRCS
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Hollingdale received his undergraduate medical education at the Westminster Medical School in London from 1970 to 1975.

His orthopaedic training occurred at what is now known as the North West London training rotation including senior registrar appointments at Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.

After a short time spent at Kettering General Hospital Mr Hollingdale was appointed as senior Orthopaedic consultant to the Central Middlesex Hospital London in 1989. During his time at the Central Middlesex hospital he has developed a special interest in Knee and Hip surgery. 

His particular interests at present include, arthroscopic surgery and cruciate ligament reconstruction. He regularly performs both patella tendon and hamstring reconstructions for anterior cruciate deficient knees. His other main interest is in the reconstruction of arthritic knees.

Over the last 3 to 4 years he has become interested in minimally invasive surgery for the arthritic knee and is at present one of the leading orthopaedic surgeons in this technique in the United Kingdom. Mr Hollingdale frequently travels abroad to give lectures on this technique and teaches surgeons form both the United Kingdom and Europe on specially arranged courses.

Over the past 20 years he has written a number of papers covering various topics in Orthopaedics.His research and interest at present is in surgery of the arthritic knee.

Mr Peter Dyson FRCS
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Peter Dyson trained at University College Hospital in London from 1969 to 1975. His Orthopaedic training was at the Middlesex Hospital, London at the Royal Orhtopaedics Hospital Stanmore. His present appointment is as Consultant Spinal Orhtopaedic Suregon at West Herts Hospital. His is a member of the Othopaedic Spinal Unit at The Wellington Hospital, and also untakes private practice at the BUPA Hospital in Harpenden.

His Surgical intrests include minimally intervention surgery, flexible spinal stabilisation, spinal fusion,   disc arthroplasty and coccydynia.

Mr Tim Briggs MB BS, MChOrth, FRCS,
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Briggs quailified from The Royal London hospital  in 1982 getting a distinction in surgery.

His was appointed Consultant Othopaedic Surgeon at The Royal National  Orthopaedic Hospitial in 1992 and has been Medical Director for the last 10 years. 

His current NHS posts are, Honoray Consultant, St Lukes Hospital for the Clergy. Honoray Senior Lecturer, University College London.Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to Supra-Regional London Bone & Soft Tissue Sarcoma Service. Medical Director & Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, Stanmore & London and The London Clinic for injuries Private Clinic, London.    
 
His current intrests are in  hip & knee surgery in both biological reconstruction using the Antologous Chrondrocyte Transplantation technique as well as joint replacement. Oncology - (management of bone tumours), Knee Arthroplasty and Sports Injuries. 

He is published widely in hip and knee surgey and biological reconstruction.
